Surah Al-Baqara 2:141 — Meaning, Translation & Reflection

تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌۭ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

English: That community passed away: what they earned belongs to them, and what you earn belongs to you. You will not be answerable for their deeds.

Bengali: তার চাইতে অত্যাচারী কে, যে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে তার কাছে প্রমাণিত সাক্ষ্যকে গোপন করে? আল্লাহ তোমাদের কর্ম সম্পর্কে বেখবর নন। সে সম্প্রদায় অতীত হয়ে গেছে। তারা যা করেছে, তা তাদের জন্যে এবং তোমরা যা করছ, তা তোমাদের জন্যে। তাদের কর্ম সম্পর্কে তোমাদের জিজ্ঞেস করা হবে না।
