كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ إِن تَرَكَ خَيْرًا ٱلْوَصِيَّةُ لِلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ وَٱلْأَقْرَبِينَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۖ حَقًّا عَلَى ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
English: it is prescribed that he should make a proper bequest to parents and close relatives- a duty incumbent on those who are mindful of God.
Bengali: তোমাদের কারো যখন মৃত্যুর সময় উপস্থিত হয়, সে যদি কিছু ধন-সম্পদ ত্যাগ করে যায়, তবে তার জন্য ওসীয়ত করা বিধিবদ্ধ করা হলো, পিতা-মাতা ও নিকটাত্নীয়দের জন্য ইনসাফের সাথে পরহেযগারদের জন্য এ নির্দেশ জরুরী। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলা সবকিছু শোনেন ও জানেন।
