سُورَةُ البَقَرَةِ · Medinan · Verse 188 of 286
وَلَا تَأْكُلُوٓا۟ أَمْوَٰلَكُم بَيْنَكُم بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ وَتُدْلُوا۟ بِهَآ إِلَى ٱلْحُكَّامِ لِتَأْكُلُوا۟ فَرِيقًۭا مِّنْ أَمْوَٰلِ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْإِثْمِ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
English: Do not consume your property wrongfully, nor use it to bribe judges, intending sinfully and knowingly to consume parts of other people’s property.
Bengali: তোমরা অন্যায়ভাবে একে অপরের সম্পদ ভোগ করো না। এবং জনগণের সম্পদের কিয়দংশ জেনে-শুনে পাপ পন্থায় আত্নসাৎ করার উদ্দেশে শাসন কতৃপক্ষের হাতেও তুলে দিও না।
