إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

Meaning & Reflection
'Indeed you are among the messengers.' al-Razi raises the question: if the deniers reject his messengership, why answer with an *oath* rather than an argument? Because the point here is not to win a debate but to reassure the Messenger himself, with divine certainty, in the face of a whole society calling him a liar. al-Saadi adds that he is 'among' the messengers — nothing strange or unprecedented, bringing what every messenger brought. Ask yourself: when I try to do something right and everyone around me doubts or mocks it, what I crave is exactly this — a certainty deeper than their opinion. Where do I seek that reassurance: in winning arguments, or in what I know Allah has confirmed?
